Jamie Brook

Born under the sign "No Ball Games" Jamie originates from the Midland coal-mining town of Brownhills. He moved to Guildford in 2005 to study at the Guildford School of Acting, from which he graduated in the summer of 2008.

You may recognise him from numerous commercials in which he has featured, including "The bread guy" in the 'Subway Advert' (National TV); ICS Learn Commercial (Digital TV Channels); Tesco (National TV), Doritos Advert (Internet Viral); NHS Anti Binge Drinking Advert (National Cinemas); Nintendo Wii – Mario Kart (National TV); Morrison’s (National TV) and Discovery Channel Ident (Toast TV) and an AA Show and Tell (Sweet TV).

Theatre credits include: Michael Cassio in 'Pitch Black' (Tour of Vienna); Ben in 'School Play' (Duchess Theatre); Dom in 'Stay on Course' (ImpAct National Tour); Dromio and Ferdinand in 'Love’s Not Times Fool' (Guildford Shakespeare Company); and Adrian in 'Vicious Circle' (tour).

Whilst at GSA, Jamie played various roles including: Grimes & Dick in 'Serious Money' (Electric Theatre); Michael in 'The Kitchen' (Mill Studio); Buff in 'SubUrbia', Dromio of Syracuse in 'The Comedy of Errors' and Colonel Bradshaw in 'The Roses of Eyam' (Bellairs Playhouse); and Fezziwig in 'A Christmas Carol' (Swan at The Globe).

Jamie is waiting for the release of his first feature film 'Passengers' in which he plays Clint Rain.

Jamie's pantomime credits include PC Pongo 'Aladdin' (Guildford 2008 and 12/13), Egor in 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarves' (Buxton Opera House 2011/12); King Fussy and Prince Christopher in 'Sleeping Beauty' (Channel Theatre 2010).


Since the 2013/14 season Jamie has been the resident lead comic at Guildford's Yvonne Arnaud Theatre with credits including: Buttons in 'Cinderella' (2013/14), Muddles in 'Snow White' (2014/15) and Silly Billy in 'Jack and the Beanstalk' (2015/16)

Jamie is a self confessed Panto fanatic and has become involved with Panto Day and National Database projects. He is currently writing his own selection of pantomimes and also scribes a seasonal Panto blog, available online. www.jamiebrook.co.uk
