Justin Fletcher

Since graduating from the Guildford School of Acting Justin has been working as an actor, children’s television presenter and voice over artist for the last eighteen years. His children’s television credits include Tikkabilla, Fun Song Factory, Higgledy House, Something Special, Springwatch, Gigglebiz, Jollywobbles, Cbeebies presentation and the new series Justin’s House. Something Special won the Royal Television Society award for best early years programme for two years running and Cbeebies Springwatch has won a Bafta for best pre school programme. His theatre credits include What a performance with David Suchet, Class Act with Joanna Lumley, Calamity Jane, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and A Respectable Wedding. Justin’s voice work includes Jim Jam and Slim in Jim Jam and Sunny, Growling Tiger and Sleeping Bear in Boo, Max Wilde for Sunny D, Tom and Vicky, Chubba in BB3B, Harold the Helicopter in Thomas The Tank arena Tour, Gobbo in Noddy, Streaker the 100mph dog for Radio 4, Ozzy in Fun Song Factory, Whizz the Robot in Noddy, Pickles in Toddworld, Captain Parker and Miguel in Finley The Fire Engine, Timmy the dog and other characters in Famous Five and Mungo, Jake and Doodles in the Bafta award winning programme The Tweenies. He is currently working for Aardman providing character voices in Chop Socky Chooks, Timmy Time and is the voice of Shaun in the hugely popular Shaun the Sheep for CBBC which won the Grand Prix best animated production award. Justin has appeared in many Panto’s including Buttons in Cinderella, Muddles in Snow White, Basil in Red Riding Hood and Josh the Jester in Sleeping Beauty. Justin co-presented the Tweenies and Friends arena show for Cbeebies at Minehead and appeared as Muddles in Snow White at The Swan, High Wycombe with Anita Dobson and Shane Lynch. For six years Justin has co-hosted the hugely successful Cbeebies Live arena tour. He then appeared as Muddles in the sell out production of Cinderella at the Capitol Theatre in Horsham. He spent the last three years performing in panto at the Hexagon in Reading breaking box office records. Justin has just finishes his arena tour Justin and Friends playing to over 100,000 people in two weeks including selling out at Wembley arena. Later this year he will be appearing as Buttons in Cinderella at the New Victoria Theatre in Woking. Twelve years ago Justin started the company Scrumptious House with the aim of creating high quality children’s television, video and theatre productions. ‘Let’s Sing Nursery Rhymes!’ was their first pre - school video production and was released in spring 2005. It soon was voted a top pre – school DVD by Mother and Baby Magazine. The Big Party Live Show is their second DVD release and two more DVDs are in the pipeline. Two years ago Scrumptious House shot it’s first television series called ‘Jollywobbles’ which appeared on BBC2 and has just been released on DVD and iTunes. Something Special was a Bafta Nominee for best pre-school programme two years ago and currently Justin is presenting Something Special Out and About featuring the hugely popular Mr Tumble! He has also just started filming series three of his hugely popular sketch show Gigglebiz for Cbeebies. He is playing all twenty six characters himself! In 2008 Justin won a BAFTA for best Children’s Television Presenter and was awarded an MBE for his services to Children’s television and the charity sector. In November 2010 Something Special won the Bafta for best pre school programme and Justin won his second Bafta for Best Children’s Television Presenter. In February 2011 Something Special won Best Pre School programme at the Broadcast awards. In 2012 Justin’s House won the Bafta for Best Pre School programme and Justin won his third Bafta for Best Children’s Presenter making him the most awarded Children’s presenter on Television.
