Nicola Foxfield

As a Shropshire lass Nicola started her theatrical training at 5 years of age at Gaston Payne, under the keen eye of Miss Shirlee Gaston. She moved on to train professionally at Bird College in London. 2013 has been another busy year for Nicola, first creating havoc as captive sprite Ariel in ‘The Tempest’ (Baron’s Court Theatre, Green Girl Productions), then prancing piratically (and getting a tan into the bargain!) as Barnacle Bess in an open air production of ‘Treasure Island’ (National tour, Cambridge Touring Theatre) A great lover of pantomime, Nicola has been waiting for years to take on the role of ‘Dick Whittington’, (which she will perform at Bedworth Civic Hall this Christmas) having previously cast evil spells as Bad Witch Hazel in Sleeping beauty (Bedworth Civic Hall), slapped her thighs as Prince Charming (‘Cinderella’, Stockport Plaza, Extravaganza Productions) , climbed the beanstalk as Jack, fallen asleep as Aurora (National tour, M&M Productions) and lost her slipper as Cinderella (Whitchurch Civic, Yellow Brick Road Productions). Nicola is also a freelance producer working for both the critically acclaimed Hecate Theatre and the emerging Green Girl Productions. When not on stage she is a fireman of steam locomotives and valiantly struggling to master the F Chord! She also makes a delicious pate, but it’s her Grandmother’s recipe, so she’s not sharing it.
