Serena trained at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts graduating with a BA (hons) in Acting.
She made her professional debut as Mallory Kingsley in ‘City of Angels’ (Landor Theatre) whilst in her final year at drama school, upon graduating; she joined the Birmingham Stage Company for national tour of ‘Roald Dahl's The Witches’ playing various roles.
Serena played Maria Elena in ‘The Buddy Holly Story’ (West End and Royal Albert Hall), and reprised her role for the national and international tours.
Other theatre credits include, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz (Winchester Theatre Royal) Peter Pan in ‘Peter Pan’ (Princes Hall) ‘Alice’s Sister’ in Alice in Wonderland (English National Ballet) Dorothy ‘The Wizard Of Oz’ (Princes Hall) ‘Dee Dee’ in Nobody’s Perfect’ ( English Theatre of Hamburg) Olivia in Twelfth Night (Coram Fields) Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Juliet in ‘Romeo and Juliet’ (National Tour) ‘‘Lady McDuff /Witch in Macbeth’ (National Tour) Wolf/Ensemble in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. (West Yorkshire Playhouse) where she played Susan on several occasions,
